Your browser save
The local save includes collected adults, favorites, mate searches, pairs, care dates, eggs, hatch rewards and a care timezone. No name or email is needed. A different browser, device or website address has a separate save. Clearing site data can remove progress.
An optional Google sign-in
Where account saves are enabled, Google verifies your sign-in and shares your account identifier, email address and basic profile information. DinoGrove does not receive your Google password. A sign-in cookie connects subsequent requests to your account. Account data and collecting progress are stored through Cloudflare services.
Your account collection
An account save includes collected animals, favorites, pairs, eggs, care dates, baby rewards, a care timezone and the Reading list. Signing in from another browser or device opens the same account collection. Updating an account save requires an internet connection. Failed requests are reported; progress is not described as saved until its result is confirmed.
Backups and earlier progress
Favorites → Save & backup lets you export a JSON copy to your device. Guest backups can replace a browser save after confirmation. An earlier browser collection can be imported into an empty account once after explicit confirmation. That import sends the collection to the account service and preserves its earlier baby appearances; it does not remove the guest save.
Signing out and deletion
The account page provides sign-out, sign-out on all devices and account deletion. Deletion requires confirmation and a recent Google sign-in, and removes the account, its active sessions and its saved collection. Separately retained guest saves and downloaded backups remain on your devices. Resetting collecting progress is a separate confirmed action that keeps the Reading list.
When saving is unavailable
Collecting and care report a failure when durable storage cannot open or commit. The last committed collection is kept where available; a temporary session is not presented as a saved collection. Educational browsing remains available.
Images and external links
Some credited scientific images are delivered by Wikimedia image servers, which receive ordinary image-request information such as your IP address. Opening a source or license link takes you to that website and its own data practices. Other artwork is delivered with DinoGrove.
Other services
Live advertising and analytics are not enabled. Google is contacted when you choose Google sign-in; browsing the exhibits does not require it. The website and account service use Cloudflare hosting. Google and Cloudflare apply their own service privacy practices to information they process.
Privacy questions
For questions about your DinoGrove information or account deletion, email [email protected]. Account deletion is also available from your account page. Removing DinoGrove does not delete your Google account or remove Google’s separate authorization grant; you can manage that grant in your Google account settings.
